How You Can Help

Kids4Kids

Every year, it seems, kids are getting more and more involved in helping the children of Half the Sky.  Kids are some our most imaginative and determined fundraisers!

What can kids do?

  • They celebrate birthdays and ask for donations in lieu of gifts
  •  They make donations to Half the Sky as part of their Bat Mitzvah celebration
  •  They organize book festivals and bake sales at their schools
  •  They contribute part of their allowances to Half the Sky
  • They host lemonade stands and car washes and pizza parties
  • They have tea parties where they collect dress-up clothes for our Little Sisters Preschools
  • They collect spare coins at home and in offices and schools
  • They sell their old toys at yard sales
  • They give Half the Sky Teacher Appreciation Gifts that honor their teachers
  • They organize Art Shows where they sell their artwork and treats as well.
  • They collect recyclable materials with their scout troop
  • They make t-shirts and sell them
  • They make Angel Trees and decorate them with red envelopes for HTS
  • ...and lots more!
