HTS Inaugural Community Breakfast Celebration
Half the Sky was created in order to enrich the lives and enhance the prospects for orphaned children in China. We establish and operate infant nurture and preschool programs, provide personalized learning for older children and establish loving permanent foster care, medical care and guidance for children with disabilities. It is our goal to ensure that every orphaned child has a caring adult in her life and a chance at a bright future.

Inspirational Community Celebration featuring our Founder and Executive Director Jenny Bowen. Our inaugural Bay Area event will be a time to bring Half the Sky’s friends and family back together in California where the dream of serving children living in China’s orphanages became a reality.
Purpose:
To rally and unite support for Half the Sky in our founding community.
To reach out, educate, inspire and connect with our family, friends, past, present and future supporters.
To connect with future volunteer leaders in the Bay Area.
To raise $50,000 for the children Half the Sky serves.

Over 200 Business and Community leaders from the Bay Area will come together to show their support for China’s most vulnerable children. All guests will be in attendance by personal invitation from Jenny Bowen and our Ambassadors.
Ticket Cost:
Tickets to attend the Community Celebration Breakfast are priceless and are available by invitation only. Guests will be asked to pledge a gift to support the children Half the Sky serves.
