A Year of Self-Expression for Little Sisters
Art Supplies Sponsorship — US$2,000
Paints and markers, papers of every kind, clay, paste, playdough, glitter, feathers and jewels and buttons and beads—your gift of an Art Supplies Package will keep an entire HTS preschool full of little fingers and minds creatively busy for an entire year.

A Year of Memories for Little Sisters
Documentation Sponsorship — US$3,500
Documentation — record-keeping in all types of media — is a critical part of our work at Half the Sky. We photograph and videotape every significant event in the children's lives. We d
ocument their developmental milestones, their conversations, their adventures. We collect their stories and their letters.
All of this goes into individual memory books or progress reports or fills the walls of our Children's Centers.
The children, most of whom don't know where they came from, soon are surrounded by a living history and a sense of their own place in time.
Your gift will purchase a video camera, two still cameras, photo paper and printing supplies to document the lives of Half the Sky's young learners.

A New Beginning for a Much-Loved Children's Center
Refurbish and Resupply Sponsorship — US$5,000
It may not be the most glamorous gift but it's certainly one of the most sorely needed! Our preschools and infant nurture centers, and th
e toys that fill their shelves, get a real workout. If you've ever lived with a toddler or preschooler, try multiplying the wear-and-tear that every loved thing in that child's life endured by many dozens of happy little hands, feet and teeth. We're lucky if our 'sturdy' developmental toys last a year.
A Refurbish and Resupply gift provides a Half the Sky Children's Center with a new paint job and a replacement package of favorite toys.

A New Place for Young Explorers
Half the Sky Early Learning Library Sponsorship — US$17,500
Half the Sky Preschools and Infant Centers have always had a selection of library books and usually a space to enjoy them. But now we are embarking on an exciting new project to create, at HTS Children's Centers, fully-equipped Early Learning Libraries to help young children get a head start.
The Early Learning Libraries will have carefully-selected quality books, educational software, films, comfy sofas and child-sized work tables, along with a children's computer station. Each new Early Learning Library will provide training to one Half the Sky preschool teacher to become a part-time librarian and the Early Learning Library Sponsorship will guarantee two years of her salary.. We have already compiled our booklist and expect to begin plans for our first library in early 2007.
A commemorative plaque will grace the wall of the library you made possible and Half the Sky will send photographs of the space being used and enjoyed to you or to your honoree.

Room of Your Own Package / Infant Nurture — US$20,000
Room of Your Own Package / Preschool — US$25,000
Not ready to sponsor an entire Half the Sky Children's Center but want make a lasting and visible gift? How about creating one beautiful and fully-equipped room in a new Half the Sky Infant Nurture Center or Preschool? Your gift will give the children beautiful walls, combination heater-air conditioners, sturdy climbers or mats, mirrors and other developmentally appropriate furnishings and fixtures. And a complete selection of developmental toys and supplies, carefully selected to enhance the learning experience of young children.
A commemorative plaque will grace the wall of the room you made possible and Half the Sky will send photographs of the space being used and enjoyed to you or to your honoree.

Operation of an Existing Half the Sky Children's Center
Program Preservation Sponsorship
It is always more difficult and, at the same time, a more pressing need, to find a sponsor who is willing to underwrite the costs of a Half the Sky center that has been in operation for some time. The excitement of the new has, perhaps, worn off, but the children remain. And new children arrive all the time. We strive to keep our teachers and nannies engaged and as eager to come to work and give their love to the children as they are on the first day of school in a
brand-new site.
Your gift, which can be renewed annually, pays the salaries of committed teachers, nannies and nanny supervisor. It covers the costs of documentation, art supplies, site supervision, and annual professional development workshops for teachers and nanny supervisors.
Average cost is about US$50,000 per year, depending on the population served, and can be contributed regular.
A Half the Sky program preservation sponsor or honoree will receive a commemorative certificate, periodic updates on the children's progress and, if desired, will be afforded volunteer opportunities either during the build or ongoing.

A New Half the Sky Children's Center
Full Center Sponsorship
You can make a major commitment to enriching the lives of orphaned children by fully sponsoring the creation and two years operation of a HTS Children's Center. A Full Center Sponsorship can include Baby Sisters Infant Nurture Center, Little Sisters Preschool, and Big Sisters Program— depending on the needs at the welfare institution. Your gift covers the costs of renovation; equipping with furniture, shelving, toys; 
training teachers and nannies; and then two years of operation and supervision.
Costs range between US$75,000-225,000, depending on the population served. The operations portion of your gift can be contributed quarterly.
A HTS center sponsor will receive a certificate, have a commemorative plaque at the Children's Center, will receive periodic updates on the children's progress and, if desired, will be afforded volunteer opportunities either during the build or ongoing.
